Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for using ALIX Education website and services.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the website and educational services ("Services") operated by ALIX Inc. ("Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Services" refers to AI education programs, camps, online courses, and consultation services provided by the Company.
  • "User" refers to any person who uses the Services in accordance with these Terms.
  • "Applicant" refers to any person who has applied to participate in a camp or program.

Article 3 (Effectiveness)

These Terms take effect when posted on the website or otherwise communicated to Users. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws and will provide advance notice via the website.

Article 4 (Services Provided)

The Company provides the following services.

  • AI Scholars Program (high school, online/offline)
  • AI Pioneers Program (middle school)
  • AI Creators Program (elementary)
  • 1:1 AI Research Mentorship
  • No-Code Research Fellowship
  • Deep Dives Advanced Courses
  • Bay Area In-Person Program
  • Program-related consultation services

Article 5 (Application and Registration)

Program applications are submitted through the website application form and registration is completed after the Company's review and approval. Parental consent is required for minors.

Article 6 (Refund Policy)

Group Programs (AI Scholars, Pioneers, Creators, Deep Dives)

  • Up to 21 days before program start: Full refund
  • 7 to 21 days before program start: 50% refund
  • Within 7 days of start or after program start: No refund

1:1 Mentorship Programs

  • Before 2nd session completed: Full refund available (10-session program: within 100 days, 25-session fellowship: within 250 days)
  • After the above deadlines: No refund

Article 7 (User Obligations)

  • Users must provide accurate information when applying.
  • Services may not be used for purposes other than education.
  • Users must not misuse others' information or interfere with service operations.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property)

All educational materials, curricula, and content provided through the Services are the intellectual property of the Company or their respective rights holders. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use them without authorization.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or system failures. The Company is also not liable for service disruptions caused by the User's own actions.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court located where the Company's principal office is situated.
